Atul Goel
President
Atul Goel is President of Continuum and KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. (KGL), part of CJK Group, where he leads global content services and marketing execution. A global business and technology executive with more than three decades of experience, he has built and led global organizations across the United States, United Kingdom, and India, with responsibilities spanning P&L management, strategy, technology, M&A, and customer relationships.
A technologist by background, Atul has spent his career anticipating industry transitions, from digital publishing and global delivery models to automation, AI-enabled workflows, and new models for monetizing content in an AI-driven world.
Prior to KGL, he was President of Cenveo Publisher Services and held senior technology and operations roles at Cenveo and Cadmus Communications. Atul holds an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MS in Technology from Pittsburg State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Poona, India.

Mary Beth Burns
Chief Financial Officer
Mary Beth Burns serves as Chief Financial Officer for Continuum and KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., bringing decades of experience in financial leadership across manufacturing, publishing, and global operations. She specializes in financial strategy, operational performance, and driving business growth through disciplined financial management.
Mary Beth has held a range of leadership roles spanning finance, compliance, and operations, working closely with executive teams to align financial planning with business objectives. Known for her strategic mindset and hands-on approach, she plays a key role in optimizing performance, improving efficiencies, and supporting long-term success.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting) and History from Saint Mary’s College and an MBA from Indiana University South Bend.

Adrian Stanley
Chief Business Development Officer
Adrian T. Stanley is Chief Business Development Officer at KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., where he leads global growth initiatives across editorial services, technology platforms, and AI-enabled publishing solutions. Working at the intersection of technology, innovation, and evolving business models, Adrian is widely recognized as a pioneer in the transformation of the scholarly publishing and scholarly communications ecosystem.
He is a Past President of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and a former Associate Editor of Learned Publishing. In recognition of his contributions to mentoring and advancing STEM education, Adrian was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
Earlier in his career, Adrian held senior leadership roles at Digital Science, JMIR Publications, and The Charlesworth Group, and previously ran Adrian Stanley Consulting, advising scholarly publishers, funders, startups, and research-focused organizations on strategy, partnerships, and innovation.

Debbie McClanahan
SVP, Journal Publishing Operations
Debbie McClanahan serves as Senior Vice President, Journal Publishing Operations, leading editorial and production teams that support a broad portfolio of not-for-profit and commercial publishing partners. With more than five decades of experience in scholarly and professional publishing, she has held leadership roles spanning editorial operations, production management, customer service, quality, and customer relations.
Debbie built an extensive career with Cenveo Publisher Services and its predecessor organizations, Cadmus and Waverly Press, and served as Director of Production for Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, overseeing more than 200 journals. Known for her deep industry expertise, she has led numerous large-scale outsourcing transitions and operational transformation initiatives that helped publishers improve efficiency and service delivery. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from George Mason University School of Business.

Cara S. Rivera
SVP, Consulting and Editorial Solutions
Cara Rivera is Senior Vice President, Consulting and Editorial Solutions at KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. (KGL), where she leads the company’s Consulting, Editorial, and Publications Management businesses. She advises scholarly societies, publishers, and research organizations on journal and portfolio strategy, business models, editorial and peer-review strategy, research integrity, and technology-enabled workflows, and provides executive leadership for KGL’s peer review, editorial office, and research integrity services.
Cara co-founded Kaufman Wills Fusting & Company in 2000 and served as Managing Director until its acquisition by KGL in 2021. Earlier in her career, she held management, editorial, and marketing positions with commercial and association publishers. Cara earned a BA in English with high honors from Carleton College and an MBA in marketing and market research from DePaul University.

Waseem Andrabi
SVP, Learning Solutions
Waseem Andrabi is Senior Vice President, Learning Solutions at KGL, where he provides strategic and operational leadership across the company’s books, education, and learning businesses. With more than two decades of experience in publishing and learning, Waseem brings together commercial strategy, operational leadership, and deep industry expertise to drive growth, strengthen client partnerships, and develop high-quality print and digital solutions. His experience spans business development, client strategy, publishing operations, solution and workflow design, digital transformation, and team leadership.
He is particularly focused on how technology, AI, automation, and accessibility are reshaping publishing and learning, and how these capabilities can be used to create better products, more efficient workflows, and stronger outcomes for clients and learners.
He holds a BS in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Hong Zhou
VP, Product Management
Dr. Hong Zhou is VP of Product Management at KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., where he directs product strategy and AI innovation for researchers, librarians, and publishers. Previously, he served as Senior Director of AI Product & Innovation at Wiley. In that role, he helped establish AI ethics principles and led the development of the AI-driven papermill detection tool that received the 2025 Silver SSP EPIC Award for Excellence in Research Integrity Tools.
Dr. Zhou holds a PhD in 3D Modeling with AI and an MBA in Digital Transformation from Oxford University. He is a COPE Advisor, a Scholarly Kitchen Chef, and Co-Chair of the ALPSP AI Special Interest Group. Additionally, he serves as a member of the STM Future Lab and as a Distinguished Expert at China’s National Key Laboratory of Knowledge Mining for Medical Journals.

José Fossi
VP, Hosting Operations, PubFactory
José is co-founder of the PubFactory platform and acts a strategic and tactical guide for scholarly publishing clients. He oversees the breadth of KGL’s PubFactory business and focuses on implementing and refining operational processes to increase the scalability of platform technologies. Previously CEO of iFactory and General Manager of the PubFactory platform, José provided strategic and operational oversight for the development of PubFactory as a full-featured, mixed content online publishing platform.
José holds a BA in English and Spanish from Université de Paris Jussieu.

Simon Boisseau
VP, Publisher Market Development
With over 25 years of experience in scholarly publishing, Simon joined Accucoms in 2012 as Director of Institutional Sales and later becoming Managing Director in 2020. He has successfully guided the business through significant challenges, including a global pandemic, evolving business models, geopolitical uncertainty, and an acquisition.
Now serving as VP of Publisher Market Development at KGL, Simon brings a proven track record of driving international sales growth and launching successful companies, brands, and products. Prior to Accucoms, he held key roles at Pharmaceutical Press, Hodder Arnold, and Future Science Group. Having travelled extensively, he has developed a strong global network spanning academic, government, and corporate sectors.

Laurie Burger
VP, Human Resources, US Operations, KGL and Sheridan
Laurie is responsible for oversight of KGL’s Human Resources operations, in addition to providing HR leadership over Continuum (CTM), and several Sheridan print sites within the CJK Group. Prior to KGL, she held HR leadership positions at Cenveo Publisher Services for over 21 years, most recently as the Regional HR Manager supporting both content and print divisions. Throughout her career she has focused on establishing strategic partnerships with leaders to support them in creating world class organizations that are attentive to employee development and success while maximizing business profitability and growth.
Laurie holds a BA in Psychology from The College of William and Mary, has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 1997, and previously served six years on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Society for HR Management.

Mike Groth
Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing at KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., Mike oversees all aspects of strategy and implementation across digital, social, conference, advertising and PR channels. Mike has spent 30 years in marketing for scholarly publishing, previously at Cenveo, Emerald, Ingenta, NEJM Group and Wolters Kluwer. A committee chair for the Society for Scholarly Publishing, he has presented at SSP, AMA, ALA, ER&L, Charleston Conference and the Frankfurt Book Fair and blogged on topics ranging from market trends, library budgets and research impact, to user experience, emerging markets and AI in publishing.
Mike holds a BS in Communications from Boston University and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Rajeev Barowalia
SVP Operations, Mumbai
Rajeev joined KGL via predecessor Cenveo Publisher Services in 2008 and leads the company’s rich media and digital services teams. Rajeev has 20 years of experience in e-learning and localization. He has worked in leadership roles in various e-learning and digital content development companies, including NIIT, Lionbridge Technologies, and Tata Interactive Systems. Prior to joining Cenveo, Rajeev was one of the founding members of Praxis Technologies, an e-learning company where he set up a team of 300 employees to develop rich media content. Rajeev has a BS in Engineering from Bangalore University and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Francis Xavier
SVP Operations, Chennai
Francis joined KGL, Chennai via predecessor Cenveo in 2004 to lead production operations with particular focus on technology and assumed responsibility for the Bangalore team in 2010. He has proved instrumental in developing key differentiators for KGL such as the Smart PublishTM production engine. Francis has been associated with the print and publishing industry for over 27 years with experience spanning engineering, international customer service, quality, training and management. His previous employment included Coronation Litho Works, Macmillan India Ltd, and Thomson Digital before moving to Times Publishing group, Singapore, where he spent 8 years working for leading publishers including Time Inc, McGraw-Hill, News Week, and Fortune. He holds a Diploma in Printing & a Degree in Printing Engineering and Graphic Communications.

Sandeep Kapoor
VP Operations, Noida
Sandeep is responsible for KGL’s offshore book production services and has over 25 years of publishing experience. Sandeep has been instrumental in setting up teams to ensure smooth transition of work from US facilities to India. He has rich experience in handling book production for STM, higher education, and PreK-12 markets, previously with Cenveo, PreMediaGlobal and Aptara. Sandeep has a strong background in technology; he has undertaken system analysis and design for developing workflow tools setting benchmarks in the fields of productivity and quality. Sandeep has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Delhi University and postgraduate diplomas in Software Applications from IMT, Ghaziabad, and Business Management from Symbiosis, Pune.

Anuradha Bhardwaj
Director of HR & Support, India Operations
Anuradha has worked in HR leadership roles with various reputed corporates and joined KGL via predecessor Cenveo in 2011. She came in to lead the entire gamut of Human Resources for continuous improvement at India, while extending her role to look after the Cenveo UK (now KGL, UK) team as well. She also oversees the quality certifications on standards ISO 27001:2013, ISO 9001:2015 and SA8000 of our India sites. Anuradha joined Cenveo when the 4 India sites had just merged under the brand. She amalgamated all sites under one umbrella through standardized & scalable policies using our Intranet as the platform for all documents related to HR and Quality being available to all employees. Anuradha has an arts degree from Delhi University and MBA in Human Resources & Insurance from Amity University. She is also six-sigma green-belt trained from the Motorola University.

Praful Karandikar
Director of Finance, India Operations
Praful is an Indian Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience, with different reputed Indian Groups / Corporates and Subsidiary Company of US based Groups / Corporates. As Director of Finance for KGL India, his responsibilities include Accounts, Finance, Cash Flow Management, MIS, Statutory, Internal and Tax Audit, Direct and Indirect Taxes, and QEC / Business Plan. Praful’s earlier assignments included various roles with the reputed Groups of India like Garware Group, Birla Group, TATA Group and with the ALLTEL Group of the US. Praful has a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant from India.
