KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. Responsible AI Principles
Last Updated – August, 2026
A BRIEF OVERARCHING STATEMENT:
These principles guide the responsible design, development, deployment, and use of AI across KGL’s products, services, operations, and internal workflows. They are intended to support innovation while protecting customer interests, maintaining human accountability, and building trust.
CUSTOMER CONTROL AND PERMISSION
We use customer data and intellectual property only for authorized purposes and in accordance with contractual commitments or explicit customer approval. Customer data is not used to develop or improve AI capabilities unless separately authorized in writing and supported by appropriate terms.
SECURITY, PRIVACY, AND CONFIDENTIALITY BY DESIGN
We protect customer and KGL data throughout the AI lifecycle through appropriate technical, organizational, and operational safeguards. Access, use, storage, sharing, and retention must be controlled to reduce the risk of unauthorized use, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
HUMAN ACCOUNTABILITY AND VALIDATED OUTCOMES
AI may support productivity, quality, and decision-making, but people remain accountable for its use and outcomes. Outputs must be reviewed and validated in proportion to their potential impact, with clear ownership and escalation where appropriate.
TRANSPARENCY AND TRACEABILITY
We provide appropriate transparency about how AI is used and maintain sufficient records of data use, decisions, reviews, and material changes. This supports accountability, customer assurance, effective oversight, and continuous improvement.
