Glen Allen, VA—April 14, 2026—The New England Botanical Society (NEBS) has selected KGL PubFactory, the online hosting division of KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. (KGL), as the publishing platform for its journal, Rhodora.
The New England Botanical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing scientific knowledge and appreciation of the flora of New England while supporting a community of botanists, researchers, and plant enthusiasts. Through this partnership, NEBS will use KGL’s flexible and scalable platform to deliver a modern, unified publishing experience for its members and the journal’s authors and readers.
By moving to KGL PubFactory’s hosting solution, NEBS aims to improve the accessibility and discoverability of Rhodora, a peer-reviewed journal that has been in continuous publication since 1899 and focuses primarily on the botany of North America. The platform will support a clear and intuitive user experience, enabling seamless access to content while strengthening the Society’s ability to share research and connect its community.
“Our mission is to advance scientific knowledge and foster a connected community around the flora of New England,” said Dr. Melanie Schori, Editor-in-Chief of Rhodora, New England Botanical Society. “KGL’s PubFactory group provides the technology and flexibility we need to deliver a more accessible, unified, and engaging experience for our members and the broader botanical community.”
“We are pleased to partner with the New England Botanical Society and support the continued success of Rhodora,” said Jose Fossi, Vice President of KGL PubFactory. “Our platforms are designed to help societies improve accessibility, deliver a unified user experience, and extend the reach and impact of their content.”
The transition, which will take place in 2026, has been planned to ensure continuity and a smooth migration from NEBS’s current site to KGL.
