Cara co-founded Kaufman Wills Fusting & Company in 2000 and served as the Managing Director until Company’s acquisition by KGL in 2021. Cara continues to lead the team offering consulting, peer review, association management, and other society services. She works alongside extraordinary staff to ensure that the organization anticipates and remains responsive to changes in the market and continually meets and exceeds the expectations of our esteemed clients. Earlier in her career, Cara held management, editorial, and marketing positions with commercial and association publishers. Cara received a BA in English with high honors from Carleton College and an MBA in marketing and market research from DePaul University.
VP Editorial Partnerships, KGL Editorial
Kristen co-founded Origin Editorial, LLC, in 2010 and served as Managing Partner until the company’s acquisition by KGL in 2025. She continues to lead editorial teams, ensuring that KGL’s editorial services consistently meet and exceed client expectations. Kristen works alongside her KGL colleagues to deliver solutions that elevate journal operations and improve peer review management. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles focused on implementing effective policies and procedures for scholarly publishing. Kristen is a Past President of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) and has dedicated 25 years to advancing editorial excellence. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English Literature from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Director, KGL Editorial
As the head of KGL Editorial, Alex works with our esteemed customers and talented staff to create editorial solutions that achieve their goals and exceed their expectations. She participates extensively in professional societies and leads outward-facing communications for the company, making sure they uphold our reputation for excellence. Alex has held progressively responsible positions within KGL Editorial for the past decade, providing leadership in remote workforce management, team development, process improvement, and workflow efficiency. She also developed our single and multi-journal KGL Editorial Dashboards, supporting efficient task management tailored to each client’s needs and enabling at-a-glance oversight ensuring the highest level of service to every customer. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Alex managed professional development for science educators, and began her career at the National Institutes of Health as a Howard Hughes Research Fellow studying microbial genetics. She holds a BS with honors in cell biology and molecular genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Associate Director, KGL Editorial
Lauren brings extensive publishing experience and proven leadership from her previous roles at two major publishers. Prior to joining KGL, she served as Head of Publishing, where she led a large team and was responsible for the strategic growth, quality, and overall success of a diverse journals program. She also played a key role in delivering organization-wide projects focused on operational excellence and process improvement — implementing new workflows and training resources designed to enhance both efficiency, performance and customer experience. Lauren manages and oversees KGL’s commercial publisher accounts, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to her clients. She also leads the training and quality assurance initiatives for the Editorial division, helping ensure consistently high standards across our services. Based in the UK, Lauren holds both BSc and MSc degrees from Brunel University, London.
Director, Research Integrity
As Director, Research Integrity, Duncan is responsible for designing, implementing and advancing KGL’s global framework for research integrity. He oversees the protocols, systems, and investigative processes that support KGL’s editorial teams in safeguarding publication quality and trust. Duncan began his publishing career managing society publications and subsequently spent over a decade at Wolters Kluwer – the final 4 years as the Director, Editorial Strategy and Publishing Policy, leading peer review and research integrity initiatives across the Lippincott and Medknow portfolios. He is a frequent guest speaker and author, addressing a variety of subjects that impact the publishing community. Based outside of Atlanta, Georgia, Duncan holds a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin.
Director, Peer Review Systems
Kate joins KGL with extensive experience in scholarly publishing with a focus on technologies, having served as Director of Client Services and Director of Product Management for peer review and production workflow products Editorial Manager and ProduXion Manager. Now, as Director of Peer Review Systems for KGL, Kate will continue to help commercial, university press, and society publishers in developing and leveraging innovative technologies to meet customer needs, fostering scalable, adaptable solutions for the evolving scholarly publishing landscape.

Emily joins KGL from a large publisher, bringing holistic experience working across a variety of publishing areas, including Commissioning, Journal Development, Peer Review, Journal Launches and Acquisitions. In her prior role as Head of Journal Launch, Emily led an 80-strong team, spearheading the strategic expansion of the Publisher through new journal launches and acquisitions. She has demonstrable experience delivering high-stake multidisciplinary projects that drive process optimisation, quality of deliverables and customer satisfaction. In her role as Senior Managing Editor, Emily takes pride in serving as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, dedicated to driving end-to-end operational excellence, safeguarding peer review, and ensuring industry-leading service to stakeholders. Based in London, UK, Emily holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from University College London.

Glenn leads global editorial teams for KGL clients across multiple societies, overseeing peer review processes, staff management, and client relationships. With more than thirty years of experience in scholarly publishing, he has worked extensively across reference works and medical journals and has contributed to consultations and business development. Glenn is a past president of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE), reflecting his long-standing leadership in the profession. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Cornell University.

Steve joined the KGL team in 2023. He specializes in working with clients who publish multiple journals. Steve is experienced in improving efficiency and uniformity across titles. He is eager to find solutions that fit each organization’s needs and is happy to provide the data to make an informed decision. As a former science journalist, Steve works to ensure his team is both accurate and on deadline. Steve holds a BA in English literature from Washington University in St. Louis.

With 20 years of experience in scholarly publishing, Michelle has a wide range of experience from the review process through production that benefits the journals she supports. She oversees the workflow for multiple journals, managing and working with a team of editorial associates to meet and exceed client expectations. Michelle has improved editorial and production protocols and workflows, created style manuals, and maintained Editorial Board records and reports. Prior to working for KGL Editorial, Michelle worked for the American Association for Cancer Research for several years. There, among other accomplishments, she managed the launch, review process, and production of a successful cancer therapeutics journal. Michelle holds a BA in English/professional writing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer brings more than fifteen years of experience in scholarly publishing, specializing in journal strategy, portfolio management, editorial operations, and training. She has successfully led publisher and CMS transitions, launched new journals, and optimized submission and peer review workflows using Editorial Manager and ScholarOne. Passionate about professional development, Jennifer has designed and delivered training programs that strengthen teams, improve processes, and support the implementation of ethical policies. She also contributes expertise in marketing, human resources, and digital strategy. Jennifer earned a master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Nottingham Trent University.

Katie brings our KGL customers more than 15 years of scholarly publishing experience in managing submission, peer review, and publication workflows, developing staff, and improving processes. She is also an expert user of Editorial Manager, eJournalPress, and Scholar One and has been involved in publisher and content management system transitions as well as assisting in the launch of open access journals and onboarding of editorial staff.
Katie has rich experience in process and protocol review including the creation and implementation of ethical and data deposition policies and procedures, has experience as a DEI committee member, set up functionality for reviewer CME/CE for society journals, and specializes in the management of social media initiatives focusing on strategic development to establish an impactful marketing tool using social media. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Assumption College and a master’s degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College.

Diane serves as Executive Managing Editor at KGL, overseeing a large portfolio of journals and conference proceedings through peer review. With nearly thirty years of experience in scientific publishing, she has managed production and editorial workflows for organizations including the American Institute of Physics, American Physical Society, American Association of Physicists in Medicine, American Association of Physics Teachers, Aptara, and Origin Editorial. Diane brings deep knowledge of publishing styles, requirements, and workflows, along with an in-depth understanding of the manuscript lifecycle from submission through final publication in print and online. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Jazz/Commercial Music with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology.

With twenty years of experience, Brook is dedicated to fostering professional growth within her teams. Brook is a member of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) Board of Directors and is passionate about contributing to the professional community. She brings extensive proficiency in editorial systems, including eJournalPress and Editorial Manager. Brook earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Carrie provides leadership to editorial associates dedicated to supporting a range of high-volume editorial and production workflows, including editor assignment, reviewer database build up, editor support, and editorial manuscript management. Carrie analyzes task data and conducts regular work assessments to ensure that each team delivers exceptional efficiency to multiple KGL clients while providing thorough, high-quality work. During her decade in scholarly publishing, Carrie has partnered with clients to optimize workflows for both high-volume tasks and for a variety of specialty manuscript types such as clinical trials, transfers, resubmissions, and reassignments. Carrie is an expert user of Editorial Manager, eJournalPress, and ScholarOne manuscript systems, making her adept at forensic evaluation of technical issues and submission history. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Carrie worked as a project coordinator in the IT staffing field for several years, where she specialized in assessing and procuring the resources needed for technical short-term projects.

Sarah comes to KGL from a large publisher, where she built, scaled and led large teams responsible for the content acquisition process across over 100 scientific journal titles. As a publishing professional, she is committed to safeguarding knowledge by maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and peer review. A qualified PRINCE2 project leader, she brings extensive experience delivering and implementing high-impact projects to elevate customer experience and editorial services, with a special interest in developing innovative, user-centric digital publishing product solutions. Sarah holds a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in Environmental Protection and Management from the University of Edinburgh. Outside work, you’ll likely find her trail running with her rescue dog.

Christi is an Associate Managing Editor with KGL Editorial who has been working in scholarly publishing since 2006. For multiple KGL clients, she provides direct editor-in-chief support and management of the peer review process. Christi has extensive knowledge of Scholar One and Editorial Manager. In addition, Christi has been trained in digital image manipulation and Scholar One Configuration Center. Christi holds a BS in Marketing from Liberty University.

Libby manages several high-volume journals, providing editorial support to clients, editors, reviewers, and authors while leading a team of editorial associates across multiple countries. She is responsible for training new editors and preparing regular reports on manuscript submissions and journal performance. With ten years of experience in scholarly publishing, Libby brings expertise in data protection, usage rights, policy implementation, editor recruitment, and indexing. She is proficient in ScholarOne, Editorial Manager, and Open Journal Systems. Libby earned a B.A. in Spanish from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University.

With thirty-seven years of experience in scientific publishing, she has developed deep expertise in publishing styles, requirements, and workflows, as well as an in-depth understanding of the manuscript lifecycle from submission through publication. Jacqueline is highly experienced in peer review, skilled at assessing editorial workflows, and adept at ensuring manuscripts meet journal standards. She has extensive experience with submission platforms including Peer X-Press and ScholarOne, and thrives in fast-paced, high-volume journal environments.

Victoria brings a decade of scholarly publishing experience working on society publications to manage submission, peer review, and production workflows. Her expertise includes ensuring that manuscripts comply with all journal requirements and managing the work of editors, authors, and reviewers to meet editorial timelines and ensure speedy publication of content. She has served as right-hand to the editors-in-chief for several journals, managing special issues and supporting the editorial board while providing oversight of peer review staff and implementing process improvements.
Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Victoria served as both a copyeditor and production editor, and as a project manager overseeing the production of an 80-book symposium series for a large society. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in journalism from University of Delaware.

Allison has been in scholarly publishing field for over 13 years, providing editorial support for several high-impact, high-volume journals. She is proficient as a user and administrator of ScholarOne, with a focus on increasing the efficiency of the peer review process. Allison holds a BSJ from Northwestern University.

Jamie has over a decade’s worth of experience in scholarly publishing and has worked in a number of capacities, from handling quality control duties through peer review tasks to pre-production checks. He currently manages several journals with complex workflows and works to streamline processes for maximum efficiency while communicating clearly with clients. He is an expert eJournalPress platform user and has extensive experience with Editorial Manager. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Jamie worked for Springer Nature as well as the American Association for Cancer Research. Jamie holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia.

Kayla has been providing editorial support to editors, reviewers, and authors since 2018, and she is a proficient user of ScholarOne and Editorial Manager. She has experience in various aspects of editorial support including submission checks, creating reports and data collection, and training other support staff. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Kayla worked as an editorial assistant for The Journal of Literacy Research. Kayla graduated from Heidelberg University with a BA in English and Psychology with Departmental Honors in Psychology. She also holds a Master’s in English Literature and a Graduate Certificate in Rhetoric and Composition from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

With more than twenty years of experience in academic publishing, she has worked across both editorial and production workflows, bringing broad expertise to journal operations and process improvement. Katie earned a B.A. in English from Fairfield University.

Gita has been working in scholarly publishing since 2016. She brings with her 13 years of prior experience in biomedical research, biotech patent law, and grant administration. Currently, Gita supports all aspects of the peer review process. She works very closely with her editors-in-chief, editorial board members, reviewers, authors, and client, helping to troubleshoot and streamline journal processes. She assists in developing and maintaining protocols, providing training to new team members, and overseeing staff performance to best serve the client and facilitate growth. She is a proficient user of Editorial Manager and ScholarOne, and also has experience with ScholarOne’s Cognos Reporting features. Gita has a B.S in Microbiology from Iowa State University and has completed all graduate coursework toward an M.S in Biomedical Sciences with Hood College.

Kathryn supervises associates who provide individualized support to academic editors, reviewers, and authors. As a process-oriented managing editor, she works closely with editors-in-chief and publishers to realize a journal’s strategic goals. She excels at refining protocols by standardizing communications and eliminating redundancies. In addition, Kathryn has significant expertise in investigating allegations of digital image manipulation and plagiarism. She is an expert user of the eJournalPress and ScholarOne manuscript management platforms and has over a decade of experience in scholarly publishing, including nine years at the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). She holds a BFA in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College and an MFA in Creative Writing from American University.

Karen is responsible for training new editors, and she has prepared formal workflow documentation and reporting for KGL journals. She has over 20 years of experience in scholarly publishing, with experience in both editorial and production workflows, and proficiency as a user of eJournalPress, ScholarOne, and Editorial Managers. Karen holds a BA in Retail Management from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.

Deborah manages high volume scholarly journals and supports peer review for an innovative patient-centered outcomes research initiative. Deborah has vast experience in the scholarly publishing industry. Her career began as a production editor at Kluwer Academic Publishers where she eventually became an integral part of the global production team that created electronic publishing workflows, templates and systems for the digital age. In 2013, she joined Origin Editorial to manage the peer review process for a prestigious scientific society with a large portfolio of journals. Her key focus is to ensure positive stakeholder experiences by simplifying and facilitating the tasks of authors, editors, society members and peer reviewers using continuously evaluated best practices protocols, and technology. Deborah achieved a BA in journalism/history at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and attended Cambridge College for an MEd in Counseling Psychology.

Ryan joined KGL in 2025 as managing editor for several journal portfolios, overseeing peer review processes, ensuring timely publication, leading editorial board transitions, and advising on publishing best practices. With ten years of experience in scholarly communications, he has developed expertise in relationship-building with editors, journal policy development, new publication launches, and online database application planning. Ryan is active in the professional community as a member of the Society for Scholarly Publishing—where he received both a 2019 Early Career Fellowship and the 2022 Emerging Leader Award—the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors, and the Council of Science Editors. He earned a B.A. in American History from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.A. in History of Medicine with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University.

Laura Flecha oversees peer review and manages editorial workflows for two journals, providing support to authors, reviewers, and editors. She also works closely with publishers to maintain production schedules, ensure quality standards, and improve editorial processes. With nearly twenty years of experience in scholarly publishing, Laura has contributed to journals including Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Techniques and Innovations in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Cardiology journals, and the American Academy of Neurology journals. She earned a master’s degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins University.
Associate Managing Editor
Dan brings more than 20 years of experience in scholarly and trade publishing as a seasoned editor, production designer, and desktop publishing professional. He recently joined KGL Editorial, following a year with KGL’s Production division in which he oversaw the online and print production workflows of 18 multi-disciplinary STM peer-reviewed journals for one of the company’s prominent client accounts. Dan brings the highest level of accuracy and efficiency to his daily work for KGL Editorial, providing essential editorial support services on several high-volume client accounts, including routine client and author communications, tracking peer-review paper submissions across both ScholarOne and Editorial Manager content management systems, and performing pre-production quality control checks of new and revised submissions, as well as proofreading ahead-of-print articles and monthly journal issue publications.
Prior to joining KGL, Dan served in editorial management and production designer roles for a variety of high profile scholarly journals, university presses, and trade publishing houses. He has contributed to the editorial development and production of more than 400 books and related online and published print content of varying complexity, length, and style. Dan holds a BA in Literary Studies and Creative Writing from Beloit College in Wisconsin.

Denise manages a portfolio of journals. She provides editorial support to clients, editors, reviewers, and authors, bringing extensive expertise in ScholarOne and in project and people management. With twenty-eight years of experience in scholarly publishing, Denise began her career as a production editor before moving into editorial office leadership, where she has specialized in client coordination, complex workflow management, new journal startups, and onboarding editors. She has also refined peer review processes and procedures to ensure optimal performance. Denise earned a B.A. in Communications from Stonehill College.

Wendy manages a publisher-owned journal for KGL, providing editorial support to authors, editors, and reviewers. She is responsible for handling submissions, overseeing peer review, and processing decision letters. Although new to KGL journals, Wendy brings twenty years of experience in scholarly publishing, including fifteen years with a society journal. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE). Wendy is proficient in ScholarOne and Editorial Manager, as well as Microsoft Office and Adobe software.

Alice brings more than twenty-five years of experience managing high-level peer-reviewed journals and provides editorial leadership for a portfolio of society journals, including both a flagship and an open access title. She collaborates with editorial teams to develop and implement process improvement plans that promote effective, efficient, and ethical journal management. Alice earned a B.A. in English from Northern Kentucky University and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Editing and Writing from the University of Cincinnati.

Since 2014, Angie has been working at every level of the peer review process. She manages several journals and prioritizes client satisfaction and efficiency. She is highly proficient in Editorial Manager, ScholarOne, and eJournalPress. She graduated from George Washington University, with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology. During her earlier career, Angie was a patent agent for a Washington DC law firm, and then worked as a Transactional Legal Analyst for a private company in Bethesda.

Kim has been working in scholarly publishing since 2014. She works closely with editors-in-chief, providing extensive support in all aspects of the editorial process, from intake and production workflows to organizing special issues, creating covers and journal marketing items. Kim is a proficient user and administrator of ScholarOne and Editorial Manager and is experienced with Photoshop and video editing programs to provide journals with high-quality final figures and videos. She has supported journals during EiC transitions and is highly experienced with editor onboarding. Kim comes from a 20-year background of customer service and provides excellent support to editors, reviewers, and authors for multiple journals.

Clarissa brings 10 years of experience as a writer, teacher, and editor to her clients. She has been working in scholarly publishing since 2018, providing editorial and production support for customers with high-volume, high-quality workflows in several STEM fields. Proficient as a user and administrator of ScholarOne, Editorial Manager, and eJournalPress manuscript systems, Clarissa has extensive experience with increasing the efficiency of the peer review process. Clarissa has earned a B.Mus from Boston University and an MFA in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University. She has presented her scholarly work at conferences in the humanities and has also published several short stories.

Lovie leads teams of editorial associates that provide personalized editorial support throughout the peer-review process of scientific publications. She works closely with both internal and client-side leadership to optimize the editorial workflow for authors, reviewers, and editors. As a published author of cybersecurity content for the U.S. Department of Energy and The International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Lovie understands the publication process from a multi-faceted perspective. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Lovie worked as a Technical Writer and Editor for the Strategic Security Sciences Division at Argonne National Laboratory. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign with a B.A. in Linguistics.

Vrishali supports editorial offices by assisting editors, resolving author queries, and coordinating with society and publisher partners. Passionate about research and process documentation, she works to enhance efficiency and uphold integrity across the publishing workflow. Her experience in scholarly publishing spans production, customer success, ethics case management, and policy research. Vrishali also serves as Vice-Chair of the Early Career Committee of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE). She earned a Ph.D. in Policy Studies from the TERI School of Advanced Studies in New Delhi, India, and a Certificate in Publishing from Centennial College in Toronto, Canada.

Laura Rempel manages seven journals, including both high-volume and society titles, while leading a team of assistant managing editors and editorial assistants. She provides comprehensive support to clients, editors, authors, and reviewers across all stages of the editorial process. With twenty-five years of publishing experience, Laura played a key role in implementing a peer review system for one journal, supported the launch of a new title, and has managed editorial teams, assisted editors, prepared manuscripts for production, and overseen peer review databases. She earned an A.S. in Business Administration from Pensacola Christian College.

Deana serves as Managing Editor for a society with a large publishing portfolio. With thirty years of professional experience, she has overseen editorial and peer review processes for a range of medical and scientific journals. Deana is proficient in platforms including ScholarOne, Editorial Manager, and eJournalPress, and she is skilled at updating protocols and reports to support efficient operations. She has successfully launched and transitioned journals to new platforms, onboarded editors and staff, and built strong, lasting relationships with authors, reviewers, and clients. Deana earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a certificate in Technical and Professional Writing from CSU Long Beach.

Cameron Schell joined KGL in July 2022. Over the course of which he has honed his skills in handling initial and revised quality checks, transmission to publisher, and proofing. He is proficient user of eJournal Press and Editorial Manager, and he has experience with Scholar One. He holds a BA and MA in English from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is currently completing his PhD in English at Northwestern University.

Nicola has worked in journal publishing since 2012 and has experience in every aspect of the peer review process, from initial submissions through final author proofs. She is an experienced user of Editorial Manager, ScholarOne, and eJournal Press. Nicola joined KGL Editorial in 2018 and was promoted to Associate Managing Editor in 2021. Nicola grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and spent several years in Britain before moving to Houston, where she completed a BA in English at the University of Houston.

Carolyn Sperry manages daily editorial workflows for two medical journals, providing comprehensive support to authors, editors, and reviewers and coordinating article handoff to production. Prior to joining KGL Editorial, Larissa was the coordinating editor for a high-impact chemistry journal, where she directly supported the editor-in-chief. Larissa has extensive experience in the peer-review process and excels at evaluating editorial workflows and monitoring manuscripts for compliance with journal standards. She is a skilled problem-solver who works well with fast-paced and high-volume journals. Larissa holds a BS in Psychology from John Carroll University.

Christine manages a portfolio of physical sciences journals, leading editorial teams and providing support to clients, editors, reviewers, and authors. With more than thirty years of experience in scientific publishing, she brings expertise across data conversion, production editing, copyediting, proofreading, and journal preparation. Christine has managed peer review for multiple physics and engineering journals, book series, and conference proceedings, and she played a key role in launching a new open access journal and developing test sites for emerging titles. David Vargas is a publishing professional with more than two decades of experience in society relationships, peer-review management, and editorial optimization. Prior to joining KGL, he managed a portfolio of journals for Elsevier, collaborating with societies and editors on daily operations and strategic initiatives. At ASM International, David led editorial teams, working closely with editors and contributors in the publication of high-quality technical handbook content. As an editorial consultant, he has strengthened his skills in copyediting and production. David holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a Copyediting Certification from UC San Diego.

Working closely with editors-in-chief, Stacie manages all aspects of the peer review process, single topic issues, and issue line-up for society journals, as well as having responsibility for the journal social media content creation and outreach initiatives. Stacie interfaces with society publishers with respect to journal print and online production activities. She is an expert user of ScholarOne Manuscript Central and Editorial Manager. Stacie has over 25 years’ experience in STEM publishing, including as the editor-in-chief for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development (JRRD) and Managing Editor for Proteins: Structure, Function and Bioinformatics. She earned dual BS degrees in marine biology/marine chemistry from Southampton College of Long Island University and a PhD in biophysics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Business Operations Manager
Lisa leads the business management team as Business Operations Manager for KGL Consulting and KGL Editorial. In this position, she is responsible for talent acquisition, employee on boarding and development, employee payroll, client invoicing, and benefits management. Lisa also manages the contracts and communications with the companies’ service providers: technology, legal, insurance, accounting, payroll, banking, and project management. Lisa joined KGL in 2015 previously working in business administration roles for 15 years. Lisa received a BS in Business Management/Human Resource Management from Towson University.
Senior Data Management Associate
Isabella supports KGL Editorial Services associates with all data management needs. Isabella builds and revises KGL Editorial’s Dashboards, enabling KGL to train new associates efficiently, improve staff adherence to client protocols, and manage the distribution of work among our growing, global team of editorial associates. She project manages KGL technology colleagues towards new and streamlined dashboards, manages the invoice process, resolves administrative problems and inquiries in addition to backing up the Business Operations Manager, as needed. Isabella holds a BS in Business Management from St. John’s University in New York.
