“We are excited to partner with Taylor & Francis,” said Clare Lindahl, CEO of SWCS. “Since our organization’s inception, the dissemination of high-quality natural resource conservation research has been central to our mission, as it is essential for advancing practical conservation efforts. This partnership ensures that crucial conservation knowledge is accessible and reaches a worldwide network of conservation professionals.”
In January 2025, JSWC will be added to Taylor & Francis’s natural resource conservation portfolio and be available to read via Taylor & Francis Online. The partnership will leverage Taylor & Francis’s expertise in scholarly publishing to ensure that the valuable content published in JSWC reaches a wider and more diverse audience. In addition, subscribers and contributors will benefit from assistive technology such as “ReadSpeaker,” training materials on academic research and writing, multimedia formats, and more.
Editor Gretchen Sassenrath stated, “The JSWC Editorial Board looks forward to this upcoming partnership, which promises to increase the reach of natural resource conservation research and foster new opportunities for education and innovation in sustainable practices worldwide.”
The partnership evolved from conversations with KGL Consulting, who assessed the journal’s strengths and played a leading role in facilitating the agreement with Taylor & Francis. The academic publisher is committed to making this a seamless transition for new and returning authors; submissions will continue to be received via JSWC’s submission system.
More information about the partnership will be available in the coming months via SWCS’s website at www.swcs.org. In the meantime, read the journal’s current issue at www.jswconline.org.
