KGL PubFactory Integrates Full Support of the PSI OrgID

Glen Allen, VA and Oxford, UK—December 4, 2024—The IP Registry is pleased to announce that KGL PubFactory has integrated full support of the PSI OrgID into its platform to enable the process of updating the IP addresses used to authenticate access to content for its 100+ publisher partners. The PSI OrgID can also be used support wider interoperability.
The results of a recent survey showed that 20% of respondents from libraries are now making use of PSI OrgIDs and 31% of respondents from within publishing are making use of PSI OrgIDs. The IP Registry created the PSI OrgID to provide a persistent identifier for organizations that is flexible enough to offer practical applications and support wider interoperability between publisher and library systems.
The PSI OrgID is now linked to data for 250 plus publishers along with their own customer IDs, 24,000 ROR IDs, 5,000 plus Entity IDs, 8,500 Proxy IPs, Consortium IDs, domain names and millions of organizational IP addresses.
