At a time when educational publishing is under pressure to move faster, stay agile, and deliver across multiple formats, Education Bridge emerges as a timely and transformative answer. Launched jointly with KGL and sister companies, Sheridan and Continuum, Education Bridge connects content creation, print production, classroom materials, and fulfillment in one seamless ecosystem.

WaseemLeading KGL’s Learning Solutions group is Waseem Andrabi, a seasoned educational publishing professional with more than 20 years of experience working across editorial, operations, workflow development, and sales. I sat down with Waseem recently to discuss how Education Bridge addresses industry challenges, what makes the KGL + Sheridan + Continuum alliance special, and where he sees the market heading next.

MG: First of all, what is Education Bridge and what need is it addressing?

Eb LogoWA: Education Bridge represents a bold step forward for the K–12 publishing landscape. It is the first truly comprehensive service suite that brings together all stages of educational content development and delivery including editorial, design, production, print, fulfillment, and classroom resources under one coordinated system.

At its core, Education Bridge addresses the fundamental industry challenge of fragmentation. K–12 publishers have been required to coordinate a network of vendors and partners to bring a single program to market, which often results in inefficiencies, misalignment, and missed opportunities. Education Bridge eliminates those silos by integrating the capabilities of KGL, Sheridan, and Continuum (three companies within the CJK Group) to form a unified network of support.

By doing so, we empower publishers to bring high-quality, pedagogically sound materials to learners faster, more efficiently, and with greater consistency. It is about creating a bridge between creativity, technology, and execution so our customers can focus on educational impact rather than operational complexity.

MG: What challenges are educational publishers facing today?

WA: The education landscape is evolving at unprecedented speed. Publishers are grappling with compressed timelines, digital acceleration, and the shift toward personalized and blended learning models. Curriculum standards are changing, accessibility expectations are higher than ever, and publishers face tight production timelines and constrained budgets.

Compounding this is the operational complexity of producing integrated learning programs that include print, digital, and hands-on components. Publishers must balance innovation with efficiency while delivering high-quality materials.

The challenge is no longer just what publishers create, but how they deliver it.

Education Bridge was designed specifically to address this intersection, to make the how as strategic, scalable, and seamless as the what.

MG: What strengths does KGL offer in this integrated support system for educational publishers?

WA: KGL is the foundation of Education Bridge. Our expertise lies in learning design, content development, digital transformation, and program management. What truly differentiates us is our deep understanding of how learning content drives outcomes.

We don’t view ourselves simply as a service provider; we are a strategic partner helping publishers shape educational experiences that are meaningful, measurable, and inclusive. Our teams bring decades of domain knowledge in curriculum and assessment, instructional design, accessibility, and multi-format production.

Within the Education Bridge framework, KGL serves as the connector, ensuring the creative, pedagogical, and technical elements of a program are unified from concept through classroom delivery.

We make certain that every piece of content maintains the integrity of the publisher’s vision while achieving the scalability and precision today’s market demands.

MG: What is your background in educational publishing?

WA: My career has been defined by a passion for improving how learning content is created, delivered, and experienced.

I have had the privilege of working with teams across the full spectrum of educational publishing, from curriculum development and instructional design to technology integration and digital transformation.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with leading educational publishers and technology partners worldwide, helping them reimagine how learning content is created, delivered, and experienced.

That perspective, combining editorial insight with operational strategy, guides my work at KGL and shapes how we approach solutions like Education Bridge.

Our mission is always to empower publishers to deliver more effective, engaging, and accessible learning materials to students everywhere.

MG: What do sister companies, Sheridan and Continuum, offer to make this a comprehensive solution?

WA: Sheridan and Continuum bring exceptional capabilities that complete the Education Bridge ecosystem.

Sheridan contributes world-class print, fulfillment, and distribution expertise. Their capacity, technology, and scale give publishers the ability to produce materials quickly and efficiently, whether that’s traditional print, print-on-demand, or customized learning components. Sheridan’s proven reliability ensures that quality and consistency are never compromised, regardless of scale or schedule.

Continuum, meanwhile, extends Education Bridge beyond content and print into the classroom experience. They design and source physical components like manipulatives, kits, and instructional resources, elements that transform abstract curriculum into tactile, engaging learning.

Together, these companies make Education Bridge more than a workflow, it is a fully integrated ecosystem. Every piece, from the written word to the printed page to the hands-on classroom experience, is connected through one coordinated supply chain.

MG: What is next for the education market?

WA: The education market is moving toward greater personalization, accessibility, and data-driven learning. We are seeing strong demand for flexible, adaptive content that meets learners where they are, whether through print, digital, or hybrid delivery.

Publishers are also looking for ways to optimize operations, gain insights through analytics, and create sustainable production models.

AI and automation will continue to play a growing role, particularly in content development and workflow efficiency.

At KGL, we view Education Bridge as a strategic platform for this next phase of evolution.

By connecting expertise across content, technology, and logistics, we are helping publishers stay agile, competitive, and future-ready in a rapidly changing educational landscape.

Education Bridge isn’t just a service suite, it is a vision for what educational publishing can become when creativity, technology, and logistics are unified.

At KGL, we believe the future belongs to those who can move seamlessly between inspiration and execution, and Education Bridge is the framework that makes that possible.

Education Bridge is not just a solution for today’s challenges—it’s a vision for the future of educational publishing. By creating a seamless connection between inspiration and execution, KGL and its sister companies are enabling publishers to deliver impactful learning experiences to students worldwide.
