(KGL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Stanley as Senior Advisor, working with scholarly societies to develop and support their publishing strategies and operations and to pursue new business opportunities.
With previous leadership roles at Digital Science, JMIR Publications, and The Charlesworth Group, as well as consulting with startups, societies, and publishers worldwide, Stanley has also served as President of the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), where he helped launch the SSP Leadership Academy and expanded mentorship and C4DISC initiatives.
Stanley joins a team of experienced professionals at KGL Consulting, a leading management consultancy in scholarly publishing. The team supports clients across areas such as strategy and innovation, new product development, research integrity, editorial operations, RFPs and contracts, market analysis, data analytics, and workflow and technology optimization. This appointment is a part-time role, and Stanley will continue his independent work with innovative startups including DataSeer and Clear Skies, supporting advancements in research integrity and AI-integrated workflows.
