Data Conversion
Cadmus/KGL has been providing data conversion services since 1995, and we convert over one million pages per year. Whether you are converting back issues of printed content into electronic files or looking to convert current and ongoing content for reuse on the web, KGL has the flexibility to convert and code documents in a wide range of formats and DTDs.
Abstracts & Indexing
KGL is currently working on the conversion of a large engineering database with over 1.8 million records.
Composition
Recent projects include a complex 5,500 page, multi-volume reference work in Chemistry for a major US publisher and ongoing composition services for a US-based legal publisher.
Coding
KGL is currently providing XML coding services to Time Inc. for both back file and current issues of many of their premier magazine titles. A Cadmus/KGL representative also sits on the PRISM standards board which is developing the industry-wide standard for article-based content identification and distribution.
